Beer....I'll have one more.

I am a big fan of beer, always have been.  Every kind. Lager...ale...etc. All consistencies and tastes.  I lived in Colorado back in the late eighties and early nineties. When the micro breweries first began popping up around the country and it really gave me the taste for all the new beer that I had never had the chance of trying before.

It was always good old Budweiser products for a small town girl from Missouri.  Don't get me wrong I loved them then and I love them now but it was a whole new frontier for me and one that I enjoyed exploring thoroughly.  So give them a try, you never know you may find something that you really enjoy.

Tip for the day...when pouring a draft beer from a tapper most people try to get the least amount of head on the beer as possible but leaving a inch of head on it will give it a fuller body and bring out the taste.

  1. I was always taught... he he he that the amount of head was equal to the amount of profit the bar made :)

  2. wow I had no idea that's how you pour beer. Then again I have to drink the gluten free stuff so maybe it isn't the same...no it isn't not even close no matter what people say, GF beer is not like the real stuff in taste.

  3. It realises the gas in the beer and brings it up and out to what it should be. I haven't tried the gluten free beer to see what it tastes like but I will if and when I get the chance.
